MY FAVORITE FOOD

Ravioli are a type of Italian stuffed pasta made with different ingredients and generally folded in a square shape, they are usually accompanied by some type of sauce. My favorite sauce to accompany them is the Bolognese sauce which is made with ground meat, tomato pulp, grated carrot, diced onion and a few bay leaves.

To prepare this dish we need:

For pasta

  • 400 gr. of ravioli.
  • 100 ml. of olive oil.
  • Salt to taste

For the sauce 

  • 250 gr. of veal minced meat.
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • 2 carrots.
  • 800 gr. of crushed tomato.
  • 1/2 onion.
  • ground black pepper.
  • Salt to taste

Cook the ravioli in abundant boiling water with salt and a little olive oil for about 20 minutes.
Once cooked, drain and set aside in a baking dish, previously greased with butter.
In a frying pan with olive oil, sauté the carrots, onion and garlic, all very finely chopped.
When they are poached, add the tomato pulp and let it simmer for about 10 more minutes.
Meanwhile, fry the minced veal in another pan.
When it is fried, we will incorporate the previous preparation, seasoning it with pepper and oregano, letting it cook until it reaches the desired point (about 5 minutes more).
Sprinkle the ravioli with this sauce.
We will serve them immediately hot, we can also add grated cheese so that each diner can serve himself to his taste.

I like pasta very much and this one above all because it is a stuffed pasta and also this dish can be complemented with any sauce so it is very versatile.

My health is not harmed with this dish, since I don't eat it that often, but when I eat it I am very happy :)

  3. The ravioli are very delicious. Personally, I really like them with pesto sauce.
