Why did I choose my major?

When I was little I liked many things but one of the things I remember liking for a long time was being a hairdresser, it was something that I found very entertaining, because we could do many things with our hair, like dyeing it, cutting it or doing treatments. I have always liked the manual side of things, so after my time as a hairdresser I wanted to be a baker and make little figures for cakes, I started to like this because I watched a TV show called cake boss on TV, it was my favorite.

And now when I had to decide what I wanted to do with my future I was very undecided because there were many things that I liked, but the more I analyzed the situation the more I realized that I love the health area, so I did a lot of research about it and I was between obstetrics and dentistry careers, neither convinced me 100% but at the time of the applications I decided that dentistry had everything I liked, like manual things, biology, esthetics and many more things.
My experience at the university so far has been very varied, there have been good and bad moments, I feel that the university experience is very complex because you have to get used to a new rhythm, more difficult subjects and new people. What has helped me to cope with this new stage in the emotional aspect have been my friends and family who are always supporting me in my good and bad moments and in the academic part also the organization with planners or to-do list to always have all the dates written down and to be able to study better and in advance.
I agree with you too much, the rhythm we are used to at school is totally different from the one we have at university. The important thing is to know how to organize yourself so you don't get so stressed.
