HOW CAN YOUR MAJOR MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE?

 Hello everyone, today I am going to tell you a little bit about my major which is Dentistry. 

My major affects this world in many ways, for example removing cavities or orthodontic lesions, but that is the only thing people think about when we talk about dentistry and I am not going to talk about that part today. 

I am going to talk about how this career influences people's self-esteem, which is the major reason why I like this major. 

Many times people feel very self-conscious about their smile or a specific part of their face, dentists can make a person recover this self-esteem with very small things because they can not only work on the teeth, but also on the aesthetics of the face. This today is more common to see people having procedures such as rhino modeling or rhino modeling, that although we think they are very banal or vanity things these things can really change a person's life. For example people who do not like their face generally avoid photos, whether with family and friends or tend to have less confidence to show themselves publicly and with these small aesthetic changes can be left in the past those insecurities. 

I at least feel that I can be a great agent of change with this major and in addition to improving the oral health of people we can also contribute to the self-esteem of people that is not always considered a benefit <3
